Projektbeschreibung
The new Bauhaus Earth project “Global Scoping Study – a Regenerative Material Atlas” aims to identify regionally specific, place-based opportunities for regenerative construction sectors in three world regions: Asia, Africa, and Europe.
The goal is to identify regenerative building materials such as timber, bamboo, earth, hemp, as well as innovative building components and systems, in order to accelerate the transition towards a circular, bio-based construction economy that benefits biodiversity, people, and the planet.
Your support is needed for application-oriented research spanning from the natural resource base of nature-based building products (forests, agriculture, wetlands), through socio-technical conditions (building practices, skillsets), to the market and governance environment (policy frameworks, market readiness).
We are looking for two student assistants (to support research-related and creative tasks, including the production of graphic content, layouts, and documentation, as well as general organisational support. Essential qualifications include the ability to autonomously take on small research tasks, a basic understanding of nature-based architecture and construction, and strong skills in Adobe Creative Cloud, especially for creating diagrams. Regional expertise in East Africa, South East Asia, or Eastern Europe is a plus.
